Hongfan Jin

Hongfan Jin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Hongfan currently holds the position of Senior Director of Bioanalytical, Clinical CRO Management at Arcturus Therapeutics since December 2022, where they previously served as the Director of Bioanalytical, Clinical CRO Management from March 2021 to December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bloom Science, Inc. as the Director of Microbial Engineering from 2020 to 2021. Hongfan also held multiple roles at Pfenex Inc, including Group Leader of Clinical Bioanalytical and Molecular Biology from 2018 to 2019, Senior Scientist of Molecular Biology and Clinical Bioanalytical Team Leader from 2017 to 2018, and Senior Scientist of Molecular Biology from 2009 to 2017. Before joining Pfenex Inc, Hongfan Jin worked at Dow as a Senior Research Specialist from 2005 to 2009 and as a Research Specialist from 2001 to 2005.

Hongfan Jin holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Nankai University. After their Ph.D., they gained further expertise as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Microbial Genetics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Clinical Trials Design and Management from the University of San Diego.
