Jimmy Sotiropoulos

Jimmy Sotiropoulos has a diverse work experience with various companies. Jimmy began their career as a Research and Development Intern at Delta Institute in 2014, and later worked as a Research and Development Intern at Natural Resource Defense Council in 2016. In 2015, they served as a Research Assistant at Gewirth Group. Jimmy then transitioned into the field of process engineering, starting as a Quality Operations Specialist II at CSL Behring in 2017, and later becoming a Process Engineer at the same company until 2021. Following that, they joined Sequoia Consulting Group as a Process Development Engineer, where they were involved in technology transfer and process development projects in the cell therapy and medical device manufacturing sectors. Currently, they are working as a Senior Process Engineer at Arcturus Therapeutics.

Jimmy Sotiropoulos attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. In addition, they have obtained certifications, including a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification - Level II from the Lean Six Sigma Institute in March 2023, a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from the same institution in February 2023, and training and certification in using X-ray Diffraction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
