Kumar Rajappan

Kumar Rajappan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Post Doc at Auburn University until 2001. Kumar then joined Biota Inc. as a Sr. Scientist, working there until 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Sr. Scientist at Cengent Therapeutics and Discovery Partners International. In 2005, they joined BioFocus DPI as a Sr. Scientist and worked there until 2009. Following that, they became a Principal Scientist at Regulus Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company focused on microRNA therapeutics, and remained in that role until 2022. From 2017 to 2022, they also worked as an Independent Consultant, seeking opportunities in medicinal chemistry with expertise in various fields. In 2017, they joined Arcturus Therapeutics as a Principal Scientist and later transitioned into the role of Sr. Principal Scientist.
