Stefen Boehme

Stefen Boehme has a diverse and extensive work experience history. Stefen currently serves as the Director and Head of Drug Discovery at Arcturus Therapeutics since November 2021. Before joining Arcturus Therapeutics, they were the Principal Consultant at Boehme Bioscience Consulting, LLC starting from February 2017. From May 2017 to October 2021, they held the position of Director of Molecular Technologies at Iridia, Inc. Prior to that, from June 2008 to April 2017, they worked as the Director of Immunology at Axikin Pharmaceuticals. Stefen also served as the Director of Immunology at Actimis Pharmaceuticals from April 2005 to June 2008. Stefen Boehme has further gained experience as a Senior Staff Scientist at the La Jolla Institute for Molecular Medicine from 2004 to March 2005. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Genicon Sciences from July 2002 to April 2003, and as a Senior Scientist at Neurocrine Biosciences from August 1995 to July 2002. Stefen Boehme began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) from August 1991 to July 1995 and continued as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) from August 1990 to August 1991.

Stefen Boehme began their education at Muhlenberg College, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from 1980 to 1984. Stefen then pursued advanced studies at the University of Florida, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immunology and Molecular Biology from 1984 to 1990. Following their doctoral studies, they further enhanced their expertise by completing a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health from 1990 to 1995, specializing in Immunology and Molecular Biology.
