Suzan Alayian

Suzan Alayian has extensive work experience in accounting and accounts payable roles. Suzan began their career as an Accounts Payable Specialist at TriMark R.W. Smith in 2018, where they handled full cycle accounts payable and communicated with vendors and internal customers. Suzan then worked as a Government Contracts Administrator/Bookkeeper at SESCo, Inc., where they managed contracts and maintained billing processes.

In 2019, Suzan took on the role of Travel Accountant at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, where they responded to inquiries regarding Concur usage and company travel regulations. Suzan also worked as a Senior Accounts Payable Technician at San Diego Zoo Global, where they ran weekly check runs, performed 3-way matches, recorded accruals and journal entries, and conducted other accounts payable functions.

Suzan continued their accounts payable career at various companies on contract basis. Suzan worked at Poseida Therapeutics, Inc. as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where they again handled full cycle accounts payable and communicated with vendors and internal customers. At Crinetics Pharmaceuticals, they performed 3-way match vendor invoice processing and resolved coding and past due issues. Suzan then joined Seismic as an Accounts Payable Specialist, reviewing invoices and maintaining vendor contract archives.

In 2020, Suzan returned to Arcturus Therapeutics, where they first worked as an Accounts Payable Specialist, then as an Accountant. In these roles, they conducted reconciliations, ensured accurate and balanced accruals, and entered journal entries as needed.

Most recently, Suzan worked as a Senior Accountant at Locanabio, Inc., where they performed monthly reconciliations, reviewed and processed corporate credit cards, and ensured accurate accruals.

In 2023, Suzan is set to join Arcturus Therapeutics as a Sr Accountant.

Suzan Alayian has a comprehensive education history, having pursued various degrees in different fields of study. Suzan completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Management at Colorado State University Global in 2023. Before that, they achieved an Associate of Science in Business Administration from San Diego Miramar College in 2022. Prior to that, in 2021, they also obtained an Associate of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the same institution. These achievements highlight Suzan's commitment to their education and demonstrate their broad range of knowledge in business management, administration, and social and behavioral sciences.
