Candy Bermingham

Candy Bermingham has extensive work experience in the field of clinical science and biotechnology. Candy currently holds the position of Vice President, Head of Clinical Science at Arcus Biosciences. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Clinical Science at Tallac Therapeutics from 2020 to 2022. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as the Senior Director of Clinical Science at Aduro Biotech, where they led the clinical development strategies for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. Before that, they held positions as Senior Clinical Science Director at Exelixis and Director, Clinician at Pfizer. Candy also worked as a Senior Clinical Manager at Angion, overseeing multiple clinical trials in areas such as kidney transplantation and liver fibrosis. Further, they have experience in program management at the National Cancer Institute and served as a Clinical Scientist, Cardiac Clinical Program Lead at Osiris Therapeutics. Lastly, they worked at Celera Corporation as a Staff Scientist/Senior Scientist, leading projects in the proteomics department.

Candy Bermingham holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Applied Molecular Biology from The University of Manchester. Candy also pursued a postdoctoral degree in Hematology/Oncology at Yale University School of Medicine.
