Wei-Yang (Jeremy) Chen is a DMPK Scientist at Arcus Biosciences since April 2022. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Washington from July 2020 to March 2022, Chen published a review article on kidney organoid and microfluidic models in drug development and conducted research on ochratoxins' metabolism and toxicity using advanced cell culture systems. Chen also developed a quantitative analysis method using LC-MS/MS and performed PBPK modeling based on ADME parameters. Earlier, as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Chicago from August 2016 to June 2020, Chen's research led to four publications and five abstracts, focusing on the role of STAT3 in hippocampal gene expression related to alcohol withdrawal and proposing a novel treatment strategy for related depression. Wei-Yang (Jeremy) Chen holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Louisville and a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
