Yihong Guan

Yihong Guan is a Senior Scientist in Cell Engineering at Arcus Biosciences since November 2021, previously holding the position of Scientist in the same department. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Cleveland Clinic from April 2017 to October 2021, focusing on TET2 DNA dioxygenase deficient cells in leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes. Additionally, Yihong worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Case Western Reserve University from October 2015 to April 2017, where research concentrated on the tumor suppressor gene Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase T in colon cancer and the drug screening for targeting glutamine metabolism enzyme GPT2. Yihong holds a PhD in Development Biology from Zhejiang University (2010-2015) and a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Sciences from the same university (2006-2010), along with research training in molecular biology from Purdue University (July 2009 - August 2009).
