Claudia Schare is currently the Chair of the WDR Administrative Board and has served as a member of the board since 2012. They are also a member of the supervisory board at Bavaria Film Gruppe since 2025 and were previously involved with WDR mediagroup from 2016 to 2025. Claudia has extensive experience in public relations and communication, having worked at various organizations including Projekt Ruhr GmbH and the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics. They have pursued education in physics, science journalism, and continue their studies at the Gymnasium an der Schweizer Allee and TU Dortmund.
