Gina Behrman, APR has over 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, and new product development. Gina currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing, Communications & New Product Development at Ardagh Group, where they lead internal and external communications, marketing, the product design team, and new product development projects. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Marketing & Communications for the North American Glass division at Ardagh Group.
Before joining Ardagh Group, Gina was the Director of Corporate Communications at Verallia North America, where they led the rebranding campaign and coordinated all rebranding activities for the business. Gina also served as a communication lead during the sale process when Verallia was acquired by Ardagh Group.
Gina's experience in communications also includes their roles as Deputy Director of Communication at Verallia (Saint-Gobain Packaging) and Manager of Corporate Communications at Saint-Gobain Containers. Gina has managed global internal and external communication programs, supported brand launches, and played a key role in the development of sustainable development initiatives.
In addition to their corporate experience, Gina has also worked as an Instructor at Ball State University and held customer service roles at Saint-Gobain Containers and Ball Foster Glass Container Co. Gina began their career as a Financial Communications Specialist at First Union Corporation.
Gina Behrman, APR holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations, Marketing, and Mathematics from Ball State University. Gina also earned a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations from the same institution. In addition to their degree, Gina has obtained certifications in Applied Management Principles Program from Purdue University Krannert School of Management in 2014 and Accredited in Public Relations from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in 2008. Gina has also completed certificates in Fundamentals of Finance and Accounting as well as Successfully Managing People from the American Management Association.
