Joshua Markus

Joshua Markus has a strong background in legal services, particularly in the corporate sector. Joshua began their career as a Corporate Associate at McDermott Will & Emery LLP, where they handled mergers & acquisitions, securities, and general corporate matters. Joshua then joined Walgreens as a Senior Attorney for Mergers & Acquisitions, where they oversaw all aspects of the company's M&A activity, including retail, institutional, and clinic pharmacy, as well as pharmacy benefit management. Following their tenure at Walgreens, Markus served as the General Counsel for North and Central America at Rexam PLC, where they successfully managed the legal needs of the company during a major acquisition. Currently, Markus holds the position of Vice President & General Counsel, North America at Ardagh Group, a global packaging company that serves some of the world's most recognized consumer brands. In this role, they oversee legal services for Ardagh's North American metal and glass packaging businesses, which generate more than $3.5 billion in annual revenue.

Joshua Markus completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1992 to 1995. Joshua then went on to earn their Doctor of Law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School, specializing in History, from 1995 to 1998.
