Mindy Simon has over 35 years of experience in product development, merchandising, and store management. Mindy began their career at JCPenney in 1985, where they held various positions, including Senior Merchandiser and Senior Assistant Buyer. Mindy later became a Product Development Manager for Maternity, Men's Apparel, and Outerwear. Mindy was also a Product Development Senior Manager for several exclusive brands, such as Nicole Miller, Liz Claiborne, and JCPenney's own private brands. At Arden Companies, they currently serve as the Director of Product Development, where they successfully launched the Bark & Slumber pet bed brand and led an industry insights report. Mindy has extensive experience collaborating with design teams, sourcing teams, buying teams, and marketing teams, and they are skilled in analyzing market trends and developing detailed timelines for product development.
Mindy Simon obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Boston University in 1985.
