Shanel Lindsay, J.D.

Shanel Lindsay, J.D. has extensive experience in the legal and cannabis industries. Shanel began their career in 2006 as a Legal Intern for the Boston Public Schools' Office of Labor Relations. In 2007, they became a Law Clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as an Attorney for Sugarman, Rogers, Barshak & Cohen, P.C., where they defended Fortune 500 corporations against a variety of claims. In 2011, they were appointed Employment Counsel & Director of Human Resources for the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission. In 2013, they opened their own law office, the Law Office of Shanel A. Lindsay. In 2015, they founded Ardent Life, Inc. and created the Nova Precision Decarboxylator to give medical cannabis patients full control over their dosing. In 2017, they were appointed to the Massachusetts Cannabis Advisory Board and became an Advisor for NorthBud Capital Holdings.

Shanel Lindsay earned a B.A. in Anthropology and a Minor in African-American Studies from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. Shanel then attended Northeastern University School of Law, where they obtained a J.D. in 2007.
