Yang Yu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2010, Yang worked as a Teaching Assistant in System Dynamics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2010, Yang was involved in Undergraduate Research at the same university. In 2011, Yang joined Shanghai TongXin Mechatronics (TXMEC) Technology Co., Ltd as an R&D Intern. During this time, Yang also started working as a Sales Engineer Asia at Governors America Corp. In 2014, Yang transitioned to the role of Applications Engineer at Governors America Corp. and held this position until 2019. From 2020 to the present, Yang has been employed at Amphenol Ardent Concepts, first as an Application Engineer and currently as the Application Engineering Manager. Overall, Yang has built a strong foundation in engineering and has held both technical and managerial positions throughout their career.
Yang Yu has a solid educational background in engineering. Yang obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the period of 2006-2010. Later, from 2018 to 2019, Yang pursued a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Leadership from The Gordon Institute of Engineering Leadership at Northeastern University. Additionally, Yang completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Northeastern University from 2018 to 2020. Yang has also obtained several certifications, including a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in May 2020, a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in April 2020, and a certification in Robotics: Aerial Robotics from Coursera in November 2016.
