Hubert Motzet has extensive work experience in various roles related to research and development and management. Hubert is currently the CTO of Ardex Group since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Managing Director at ARDEX starting from October 2014. Hubert also held the position of R&D Manager at Schönox GmbH / Sika AG from October 2013 to September 2014. Before that, they worked at Schönox GmbH / AkzoNobel Building Adhesives as a R&D Manager from June 2003 to September 2013 and as a Lab Manager for Powder Products from August 1998 to May 2003. Hubert started their career as the Head of Chemical Laboratory at Martin Luther University of Halle/Saale; Institute of Mineralogy from April 1995 to July 1998. Hubert also served as Group Leader for Specialty Binders at Rheinische Kalksteinwerke Wülfrath from September 1990 to March 1995.
Hubert Motzet earned a Diplom-Mineraloge degree in Mineralogy from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, where they studied from 1984 to 1990. Hubert later obtained a PhD from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg between 1995 and 1998.
