Senior Investment Manager - Ardian Infrastructure at Ardian

Edouard Bertagna has a diverse range of work experience. In 2017, they worked as a Senior Investment Manager for Ardian Infrastructure. Prior to that, in 2016, they were an Investment Banking Analyst Intern at Barclays Investment Bank. In 2015, they worked as an R&D Composite Engineer Intern at Michelin. Their responsibilities included working on the development of the X-TWEEL, a new tire/wheel/valve assembly. In 2014, Edouard worked as a Project Engineering Intern at EXPOFRANCE 2025, where they contributed to a forecasting study on future transport means and the impact of OpenSource and OpenData on the transport network. In 2013, they had the opportunity to participate in the 'Grandes Ecoles' Seminar organized by ANAJ-IHEDN, where they engaged with high-level executives, officers, and politicians to discuss the issues and challenges of Defence and Security. Additionally, in the same year, they were a Structural Engineering Intern at Ramboll UK.

Edouard Bertagna has an extensive education history. Edouard started their educational journey by completing their Baccalauréat at Lycée Pasteur: Série S (Neuilly sur Seine) from 2008 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a two-year Classe préparatoire scientifique: PTSI /PT* program at Lycée Chaptal (Paris) from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, Edouard continued their studies at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers, where they earned their Master of Science (M.Sc.) with Distinction (Médaille d'Argent) in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from 2012 to 2015. During this time, they also had the opportunity to participate in an exchange program at Delft University of Technology in 2014, where they focused on Mechanical and Materials Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering.

Additionally, Edouard demonstrated an interest in subjects beyond engineering. In 2014, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), studying Foreign Policy Analysis. Edouard also briefly studied Military Strategy at King's College London during the same year.

Finally, Edouard pursued further specialization in their field by enrolling at Imperial College London from 2015 to 2016. There, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) with Distinction in Advanced Mechanical Engineering.
