Managing Director, New York at AREA 17

As the Managing Director of AREA 17 New York, Mark leads the studio’s business strategy, partnerships, team and discipline development. Globally, Mark partners with the Paris studio to facilitate knowledge-sharing, advance methodology, and promote cultural alignment and expression.

Before joining AREA 17, Mark served as the founding Creative Director at Condé Nast Digital, overseeing the award-winning art department to create landmark digital brands such as Style.com and Epicurious. From there, Mark founded his own studio, FOUR32C, along with Mike Lee of AREA 17. FOUR32C developed digital products for creative clients such as Vera Wang, Maroon 5, Bon Appétit, and CBS Sports. FOUR32C was later acquired by Sullivan, a New York-based brand engagement firm, where Mark most recently led the agency as Managing Director of Digital Strategy. Throughout his career, Mark’s work has received accolades from Awwwards Site of the Day, Apple App of the Week, The Webby Awards, James Beard Awards, and The National Magazine Awards (The Ellie Awards).
