Melissa Burns is an accomplished marketing and event management professional with extensive experience in the real estate and hospitality sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing & Administration at AREA Real Estate Advisors since August 2020, Melissa has held various roles including Marketing & Office Management Associate and Tenant Relations/Event Specialist. Previous experience includes roles as Executive Meeting Manager at Chartwell Hospitality and Banquet Coordinator at Kansas City Marriott Downtown. Melissa began a career in hospitality at Marriott Hotels as a Front Desk Agent and has also interned at AMAI Architecture and BE, where responsibilities included assisting with architectural projects and event coordination. A graduate of Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Melissa combines their educational background with hands-on experience to deliver exceptional event services and effective marketing strategies.
