David Alvarez Rizo has an extensive work experience in the creative industry. David started their career with DDB Mexico in 2002, where they worked as an Associate Creative Director. During their time at DDB Mexico, they worked on various brands and was responsible for concept creation, art direction, and client presentations. In 2010, they joined la comunidad as a Sr. Art Director, working on brands such as Corona, Modelo Especial, and Remy Martin. In 2012, they moved on to Alma DDB as an Associate Creative Director, where they continued to work with well-known brands like McDonald's and Clorox. In 2014, they were promoted to Creative Director at Alma, where they worked until 2020. In 2019, they briefly worked as a Group Creative Director at Culture ONE World before joining Area 23 in 2020 as the SVP Group Creative Director. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, group management abilities, and excellent creative expertise.
