Ronit Leora has a vast and diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Beginning in 1998 at Grey Group, Ronit served in various roles, including eMarketing Senior Producer and Account Management. During this time, they efficiently managed budgets and resources while overseeing website development and advertising campaigns. From 1999 to 2001, Ronit worked at Scient Corporation (SapientRazorfish) as a Director for Customer Experience and Production Management, where they successfully integrated eBusiness strategy, experience design, and technology. In 2001, they joined IC3D as a Consultant and redefined the value proposition and brand reach for proprietary software. They targeted B2B verticals in need of customized, quick-turnaround apparel. In 2003, Ronit joined IBM as a Consultant and Senior Customer Experience Project Manager, overseeing the launch of a global enterprise-wide initiative. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2008, they worked at Citi as a Consultant and Senior Customer Experience Program Manager, focusing on the optimization of the prospect experience for small business credit cards. In 2008, Ronit transitioned to UJA-Federation of New York as a Director of Digital Media, Marketing, and Communications, leading website redesign and online marketing strategies. In 2014, they joined Avanade as the Director of Delivery Management and Experience Design. Most recently, since 2018, Ronit has been working at Area 23 as the VP and Director of UX, where they provide strategic direction in determining project business goals and scopes for developing customer-centric solutions across multiple clients.
Ronit Leora has a diverse education history. They first attended the University of Florida, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. Following this, they pursued their interest in English Literature and Contemporary Drama at the University of Cambridge, earning a scholarship in that field of study. Ronit then continued their education at Florida International University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Cognitive and Community Psychology, with a focus on Organizational Behavior. They further expanded their knowledge and skills by attending the School of Visual Arts, acquiring a Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography, Video, and Related Media. During this time, Ronit also served as an adjunct instructor at various institutions, teaching subjects such as Ideas in Computer Art, Concept Development, Advanced Photoshop, TV Advertising Design and Production. Additionally, they participated in the CleantechExecs Program at The Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Ronit has also received various certifications in fields such as project management, marketing, digital transformation, and design thinking, among others.
