Nimesh Jayasuriya

Nimesh Jayasuriya is a Core Surgical Trainee at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, specializing in Plastic Surgery, Trauma, and Orthopaedic Surgery since October 2022. Nimesh also serves as a Medical Learning Engineer at Area9 Group since September 2018. Previously, Nimesh held positions as an Academic Foundation Doctor and Interim Foundation Doctor at NHS Lothian from April 2020 to August 2022 and as an Honorary Clinical Fellow at The University of Edinburgh during the same period. Nimesh's research experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School and the University of Cambridge. Early volunteer work includes contributions to the World Food Programme and UNAIDS on projects related to health and translation. Nimesh completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Glasgow and holds a Health Data Science qualification from The University of Edinburgh.
