Ruth Martinez Abrego

Ruth Martinez Abrego is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the aviation industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Legal and Contracts at Arena Aviation Capital since November 2016, Ruth has a robust background in aircraft leasing, having previously held positions such as Lease Manager and Legal Affairs at Mass Lease BV, and Asset and Contracts Manager at AerData B.V. Early career experience includes serving as an Attorney at Law in Mexicana Airlines' Legal Department and managing the advisory and civil justice department at the Local City Hall of the Mexican Government in Mexico City. Ruth holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, a Master’s in Science and Public Administration from Instituto Politécnico Nacional, and a Diploma in Aviation Insurance Law from IATA, complemented by language training at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
