Daniel Zwirn has a diverse and extensive work experience in the financial industry. Daniel is currently serving as the CEO and CIO at Arena Investors, LP since 2009. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Chairman at Applied Data Finance starting from 2014. Daniel also held the position of Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at D.B. Zwirn & Co. from 2001 to 2009.

Daniel Zwirn began their career as an Associate at Davidson Kempner Capital Management in 1997 and later served as an Associate at the same company from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they worked as an Analyst in the Media and Communications Group at Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC from 1995 to 1996. Daniel started their career as an Analyst in the Media and Communications Investment Banking Department at Lazard Frères & Co from 1993 to 1995.

Daniel Zwirn has a diverse education history. Daniel first attended the University of Pennsylvania - The Moore School of Electrical Engineering from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a B.A.S. degree in Computer Science. Simultaneously, they earned a B.S. degree in Economics from The Wharton School, demonstrating their interest in both technology and finance. After a few years, from 1996 to 1998, Daniel Zwirn pursued an MBA in Business Administration at Harvard Business School, further expanding their knowledge in the business field.
