Patel Ankur J is the managing director of credit at Ares Management. Patel has over six years of experience in the financial services space, with a demonstrated ability to pivot and execute complex transactions in a variety of sectors. Ankur has a strong analytical and structuring background, which they leverage to support the strategic growth of the lender & asset manager finance business. Patel is also responsible for day-to-day asset management of a large portion of the portfolio. In addition to their work at Ares Management, Ankur has also been involved with the Fortress Investment Group, where they served as a director.

Patel Ankur J has a MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in General Management and Finance. They also have a BA from the University of Pennsylvania in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. They are certified from the CFA Institute as a Chartered Financial Analyst and from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as a FINRA / NASD.
