Wouter Weekenborg

Wouter Weekenborg is a finance professional with extensive experience in leveraged finance and investment management. Currently, Wouter holds the position of Principal at Ares Management Corporation, having previously served as Vice President, Senior Associate, and Associate within the same firm since October 2020. Prior to this, Wouter worked at NIBC Bank from May 2016 to October 2020 as an Associate in Leveraged Finance and Analyst in Leveraged Finance. Wouter also contributed to Erasmus Recruitment as an Advisory Council Member from August 2014 to March 2016, advising on recruitment initiatives. Earlier experience includes an Analyst Internship at ING Corporate Investments and a Finance Internship at Unilever. Wouter holds a Master's degree in Finance & Investments and a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, along with an International Bachelor Exchange program at Schulich School of Business, York University.
