Shannon Welp

Shannon Welp is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a comprehensive background in business information security and technical account management. From August 2021 to present, Shannon has served as the Business Information Security Officer and Technical Account Manager at Arete. Prior experience includes roles as a Cyber Security Consultant, Cyber Security Analyst, and System Administrator at IGI Cybersecurity from June 2017 to July 2021, and as a Technical Lead at Robert Half from April 2016 to June 2017. Shannon also held the position of System Administrator at IGI - Infinite Group Inc. and provided desktop support and network administration for the City of Cripple Creek from October 2008 to July 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Information Technology with a focus on Security Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology specializing in Network Management, both obtained from Colorado Technical University.
