Dr. Janet Mahoney, PT has extensive work experience in the field of physical therapy. Dr. Janet worked as a Physical Therapist for RehabCare from August 2008 to March 2013. In March 2013, they joined Core Medical as a Physical Therapist Traveler. Later that year, in September 2013, they founded their own company, Arete Rehab, where they currently serve as the CEO and Founder. Arete Rehab provides a full range of services including contract rehab, outpatient therapy, temporary staffing, and management consulting for post-acute providers.
Dr. Janet Mahoney, PT has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons University, which they obtained from 1980 to 1984. Dr. Janet later pursued a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, completing their studies from 2011 to 2014. In 2019, they attended Harvard Business School Executive Education to study Strategy for Health Care Delivery. Additionally, Dr. Mahoney has obtained certifications in CPR and CPR for Healthcare Providers, the latter of which was obtained in December 2013 from the American Red Cross.
