Janice Schneider

Janice Schneider, MS, RDN, FAND, currently serves as Program Manager for USDA SNAP-Ed Connection at ARETUM since April 2020. Schneider has extensive experience in nutrition education and program management, having previously held positions such as Functional Specialist/Team Lead at Panum Group, LLC, where responsibilities included overseeing the WIC Works Resource System and WIC Learning Online. As a Consulting Dietitian for Columbia Association, Schneider developed nutrition curricula for workshops targeting overweight middle school students and pregnant mothers. Additional roles include Nutrition Resource and Policy Coordinator at the University of Maryland and Team Leader at the Food and Nutrition Information Center, USDA. Schneider’s academic contributions include teaching as adjunct faculty at both the University of Maryland and Hood College. Education includes a Master of Science in Health Science from Slippery Rock University and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Pittsburgh.
