Tim Derrick

Tim Derrick is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in solar, wind, and energy storage projects. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Arevia Power since August 2022, Derrick previously founded and directed Helios Energy Limited, a leading utility-scale solar developer in New Zealand. Other notable roles include CEO of Lightsource BP in North America, President and General Manager of SunEdison’s North American operations, and Co-Founder and CEO of Axio Power. Derrick’s career began in the U.S. Army, where Tim served as an Infantry Captain, and Tim holds a BA in History from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
