Aditya M.

Aditya M. has extensive experience in the finance industry, with roles in investment analytics, quantitative research modeling, and risk analytics. Aditya started their career in 2007 as a Mathematics and Programming Tutor at Rutgers University before moving on to internships and analyst positions at Intelligenxe, PSEG Services Corporation, NumeriX, and Bloomberg LP. In 2010, Aditya joined Credit Suisse as a Risk Model Validator and later worked at MSCI Inc. as part of the Systematic Equity Strategies team. Aditya then joined Edelweiss Financial Services in 2015 as a Team Lead in the Global Risk Analytics Centre of Excellence, where they helped establish an Analytics CoE and worked on machine learning projects for fraud detection. From 2018 to 2022, Aditya worked at Morgan Stanley as Head of India for Quantitative Research Modeling, where they managed a quant unit and oversaw risk management, valuation/pricing, and portfolio construction models. Currently, Aditya is at ARGA Investment Management (India) Pvt. Ltd, where they are involved in strategic R&D for investment analytics. Aditya has experience working with various analytical tools and programming languages, including R, Python, SQL, Excel/VBA, and Tableau.

Aditya M. has a diverse education history. Aditya obtained a Masters degree in Quantitative Finance from Rutgers Business School, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Mumbai, attending from 2003 to 2007. Aditya also holds an Associate of Science - AS degree in Science from R. D. National College, where they studied from 2001 to 2003. Furthermore, they completed their high school education at St. Xavier's from 1991 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Aditya has acquired several certifications. Aditya obtained a certification in Probability from 365 Data Science in May 2023. Aditya also completed certifications in Introduction to Data and Data Science and Statistics from the same institution in November 2022. Furthermore, they hold a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification from FGnC Consulting obtained in May 2020. Additionally, Aditya received an Examiner certification from Qimpro Consultants Pvt. Ltd. in November 2019 for the QualTech Prize.
