Anja Schmidt

Anja Schmidt currently serves as Associate Director of Marketing at argenx, a position held since July 2025. Prior to this, Anja accumulated extensive experience at Bristol Myers Squibb over a 15-year period, occupying multiple roles including Marketing & Customer Lead for Hematology, Senior Manager Marketing for Oncology with a focus on Melanoma, and Brand Lead for Oncology in the Melanoma indication. Additional positions included Senior Product Manager and Senior Manager for Market Research and Business Intelligence within Immuno-Oncology. Anja’s early career included a role as Research Consultant at GfK Healthcare and as a Travel Agent at L'TUR Tourismus AG from 2001 to 2004. Anja's expertise spans therapeutic areas such as Metabolics, Cardiovascular, and Immuno-Oncology.
