Ciaran Rooney is an accomplished professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in technical and process engineering roles. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist CMC at argenx since January 2024, Ciaran previously contributed to Moderna as an Engineer III in MS&T, specializing in mRNA vaccine manufacturing, where responsibilities included leading technical transfers and managing day-to-day operations with Contract Manufacturing Organizations. Ciaran's expertise in downstream manufacturing for monoclonal antibody production was further honed during tenure at MSD as a Process Engineering MS&T Specialist and at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, first as a Downstream Technical Services Specialist for a Greenfield facility and earlier as a Technical Services Associate in External Manufacturing.
