Leandros Arvanitakis

Leandros Arvanitakis has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive experience in clinical operations and development. Leandros is currently working as a Clinical Operations Development Lead at arGEN-X, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, Leandros held several senior roles at Syneos Health, including Executive Director of Clinical Development for General Medicine from August 2021 to April 2022, and Senior Project Director for General Medicine from November 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining Syneos Health, Leandros worked at PPD, where they held various leadership positions in global project management for general medicine. Leandros was an Executive Director from April 2020 to August 2020, Senior Director from November 2018 to March 2020, Director from April 2015 to October 2018, and Associate Director from October 2012 to March 2015.

Leandros began their career at Pfizer as the Head of Clinical Operations for Greece, Cyprus, and Malta from April 2006 to September 2012. Leandros also worked as a Medical Advisor at Pfizer from April 2004 to April 2006. Prior to Pfizer, Leandros served as a Medical Affairs Manager at Schering-Plough from March 2001 to April 2004.

Leandros started their professional journey at the Hellenic Pasteur Institute as an Associate Scientist from August 1997 to February 2001. Leandros also gained experience as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Weill Cornell Medical College from July 1995 to July 1997.

Leandros Arvanitakis completed their education with a PhD in Pathobiology from Brown University, from 1990 to 1995. Prior to that, they obtained an MSc in Clinical Biochemistry from Newcastle University, from 1987 to 1988, and a BSc in Cell Biology from Newcastle University as well, from 1984 to 1987.
