Patrick Maetens

Patrick Maetens has extensive work experience in the field of training and development. Patrick currently works as a Training Quality Lead at arGEN-X since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior GxP Training and Cleanroom Consultant at CRA Consult bvba from February 2018 to September 2019. At CRA Consult, they led the implementation of new sterile garments and aligned learning and development strategy for IPT Sterile with the new Annex 1 requirements. Patrick also supported the site with new eLearning programs. Before that, they served as the Director Customer Service & Training at GS1 from March 2015 to December 2017. Prior to that, they held various director positions at Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiary, Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies. Their roles included Director Strategy Deployment Training and Qualification at Johnson & Johnson from April 2013 to February 2015, Director Pharm Sector Quality Systems Training at Janssen from February 2013 to March 2013, Global Director Learning & Process Development at Johnson & Johnson Global Regulatory Affairs from August 2011 to January 2013, Director Learning & Development at Janssen from February 2008 to August 2011, and Manager Regulatory Compliance Training at Janssen from August 2005 to January 2008.

Patrick Maetens earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Rega Leuven from 1979 to 1981. In 2006, they obtained a certification in Training Management from The Training Clinic - Jean Barbazette (USA).
