Silvia Chiroli

Silvia Chiroli, MD has extensive work experience in various roles related to pricing, market access, and health economics in the pharmaceutical industry. Silvia currently serves as the Head of Market Access EMEA & Country Manager Italy at argenx, where they began in June 2021. Prior to this, they were the VP of Pricing & Market Access, International at Blueprint Medicines from April 2019 to May 2021. From April 2017 to March 2019, they held the position of Head of European Market Access at Prothena Corporation plc. Additionally, they worked as the Executive Director Head of Pricing & Market Access Europe at Incyte from January 2017 to April 2017, and as the Pricing & Market Access Director Europe at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from April 2013 to December 2016. Their earlier career includes roles at Amgen Europe, Abbott, Pharmacia, Searle, and Parke Davis, where they held positions in health economics and market access management.

Silvia Chiroli, MD completed their education in a chronological order. Silvia began their studies at Liceo Clasico A Manzoni from 1976 to 1981. Silvia then attended Università degli Studi di Milano from 1981 to 1986, where they obtained their Medical Doctor degree in Medical Sciences. Afterward, they pursued further specialization in Gastroenterology at the same university from 1986 to 1991, completing their Gastroenterology Specialty School. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain.
