Tom van Laere

Tom Van Laere is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as Chief Accountant at argenx since July 2018, Tom has previously held multiple positions at Delhaize Belgium from February 2004 to June 2018, including Transactional Accounting Revenue Cycle Manager, Corporate Accounting and Analysis Supervisor, Senior Internal Auditor, and Internal Auditor. Tom began the professional career at KPMG Belgium as an External Auditor from September 2001 to February 2004. An alumnus of VLEKHO Business School Brussel, Tom holds a Master’s degree in Handelswetenschappen, earned between 1997 and 2001.
