Vincent L. Lanz

Vincent L. Lanz is the MD and co-founder of NEO Retail Solutions at Argility Limited. Vincent has over 25 years of experience in the retail industry, specializing in automation and design.

Lanz began their career as a managing director at Quattro, where they pioneered automated dispensing of high risk products for the retail sector. Vincent then moved on to Opus, where they were responsible for the POS software integration with the Pick n Pay Group.

In 2011, Lanz founded NEO Retail Solutions, a company focused on providing digital solutions for real life problems. NEO's first major release, Shelflink, is a Retail Floor Operating System which provides visibility of all floor operations within the store eco-system, including live stock movement through the store.

Lanz has been instrumental in transitioning retail stores from paper based practices to a digital platform, which has immediately generated efficiencies and made the store more margin focused. Their work has also led to increased staff motivation as they see their performance visualized. Under Lanz's leadership, NEO has expanded high risk product availability by 60% and increased sales of Baby Formula by 400%, Shaving products by 60%, Sexual Health by 45%.

Vincent L. Lanz has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Cape Town.
