Carol Monk has been working in the field of digital experience design, content and strategy for over 15 years. Carol started their career as an Associate Creative Director at Avenue A | Razorfish in August 2002. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring the quality of the user experience design across office account portfolio. Carol also coordinated with leaders to qualify new business pursuits and led new business opportunities.
In January 2006, Monk joined Razorfish as Group Creative Director. In this role, they managed staffing and utilization against business revenue targets. Carol also helped establish experience strategy principles to guide new experience design and integrate technology innovation to improve and reinvigorate user experience.
In May 2014, Monk left Razorfish to pursue their consulting career. During this time, they worked with startup leadership to clarify value proposition, create framework, storyline, and strategic collateral for funding purposes.
In December 2014, Monk joined argodesign as Head of Creative in Austin. In this role, they are responsible for leading the creative team and ensuring the quality of the user experience design across all projects.
Carol Monk graduated with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Iowa. Carol then studied French at The Catholic University of Lyon.
They are on a team with Joe Fletcher - Head of Creative, Amsterdam, Tjeerd Hoek - Head of Creative, Europe, and Marcus Piña - Head of Creative, Austin. Their manager is Mark Rolston, Cofounder and Chief Creative Officer.
