Laurent Serano

Laurent Serano is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in CIO roles across various industries. Currently serving as Directeur Associé - Partner at Argon & Co since January 2020, Laurent leads the CIO Advisory practice. Prior to this, Laurent was the Group CIO at BIC from May 2016 to December 2019, overseeing IT for a global workforce of 15,000 across 21 factories and 3 distribution centers. Laurent also held the position of Group CIO at Bureau Veritas from 2008 to 2016, managing IT operations in over 140 countries, and previously served as Group CIO at Cegelec, where responsibilities included improving operational efficiency and implementing a comprehensive SAP and Microsoft Dynamics program. Laurent's early career includes roles as Partner at Ernst & Young, focusing on ERP system integrations, and Senior Manager at Price Waterhouse Management Consultants, directing major SAP programs. Laurent holds a degree in engineering from Isep - École d'ingénieurs du numérique.
