Andrew Jansen

Andrew Jansen is a Senior Chemical Engineer with a PhD, currently leading a research and development group at Argonne National Laboratory since February 1993. Jansen focuses on advanced electrochemical energy storage technologies, overseeing research and providing technical guidance. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Aide at Forest Products Laboratory, where research centered on the effects of recycled polymer fibers in wood composites, and working as a Student Help at Wausau Paper Mills, maintaining and installing process control instrumentation while also contributing to the paper-making process. Academic credentials include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida, an MS from the University of Virginia, and a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with initial studies at the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County Extension.
