Drace Penley

Drace Penley is a Chemical Engineer and Postdoctoral Researcher at Argonne National Laboratory, with experience in ionic liquids and their applications in separations and electrochemical energy storage. Drace completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Case Western Reserve University, following a Master of Science in the same field from The Ohio State University. Prior to the postdoctoral position, Drace served as a PhD Candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant while gaining teaching experience in undergraduate chemical and biomolecular engineering labs. Drace also held roles as a Student Analyst at Chemical Abstracts Service and as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at various recreational facilities.
