H. Luke Hwang

H. Luke Hwang currently serves as the Manager of Intellectual Property & Commercialization at Argonne National Laboratory, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Hwang was the Associate Manager of Intellectual Property and Technology Development at the Polsky Center at the University of Chicago from September 2020 to November 2023, where responsibilities included managing intellectual property and technology transfer activities for over 40 principal investigators, screening approximately 100 inventions, and completing 10 licenses and option agreements. Hwang's academic background is distinguished, featuring a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Chicago (2013-2020) and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Chemistry and Physics from The City College of New York, along with a Bachelor’s Degree from Macaulay Honors College (2009-2013). Hwang completed secondary education at Bergen County Academies from 2005 to 2009.
