Kelly Sturner

Kelly Sturner is a seasoned professional in STEM education and outreach, currently serving as the STEM Education Program Lead and Learning Center Program Coordinator at Argonne National Laboratory since March 2017. In this role, Kelly develops and facilitates programming for middle and high school students, aiming to inspire future scientists and engineers. Previous experience includes serving as Education & Outreach Coordinator at the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis from September 2010 to March 2017, where Kelly coordinated various science and math education programs for diverse audiences. Kelly also has an extensive background as a Research Technician and Lab Manager at Argonne National Laboratory, starting in October 2003. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Science Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Master of Science in Soil Science from the University of California, Davis, along with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
