Max Grover

Max Grover is an experienced Atmospheric Data Scientist currently employed at Argonne National Laboratory, focusing on the development and teaching of open source tools for meteorological data while promoting open science practices. Previous roles include Software Engineer I at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Unidata Software Development Intern at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research. Grover also has experience as an Independent Student Contractor with the United States Geological Survey and served as a Lab Assistant and Admissions Ambassador at Valparaiso University, where a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology was obtained. Grover further enhanced skills through participation in a Research Experience for Undergraduates program at the University of Northern Iowa and has earlier experience in customer service and operations as a Watersports Attendant and Tour Boat Captain at Lake Lawn Resort.
