Gabriel Ballestas

Gabriel Ballestas has a strong background in the cement industry. Gabriel started their career at Argos USA as a Regional Manager for the South Central & Gulf region from 2006 to 2009. Gabriel then became the Managing Director of Ready Mixed Concrete Co (Argos USA SE Zone) from 2009 to 2011. Gabriel then transitioned to Argos Dominicana S.A. where they held the position of Director General from 2011 to 2017. Additionally, they served as the President of the Asociación Dominicana de Productores de Cemento ADOCEM from 2015 to 2017. Currently, Gabriel is working at Cementos Argos as the Senior Director of Trading and Business Intelligence.

Gabriel Ballestas has a diverse education history. In 1984, they began studying Civil Engineering at Universidad del Norte, which they completed in 1989. Afterward, in 1992, they attended Holderbank Management Services for an International Cement Seminar. In 1995-1996, Ballestas pursued Alta Gerencia at Universidad de Los Andes. In 1997-1998, they pursued a Masters in Marketing at Universidad del Norte. Gabriel continued to enhance their knowledge and skills through various executive programs, including the Mergers and Acquisitions Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2007, CEOs Management Program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2014, the Executive Development Program in Leadership and Strategic Thinking at Cornell University in 2015, and the Argos Global Management and Strategic Execution Excellence Program at Harvard University in 2016.
