Sebastian Estrada R.

Sebastian Estrada R. has a diverse work experience. Sebastian began their career at Deloitte as an Audit & Assurance Staff from May 2013 to December 2013. Sebastian then worked as an Assistant Professor at Universidad EAFIT from January 2012 to May 2014.

From March 2015 to March 2017, Sebastian worked as an Analyst in Financial Structuring and Corporate Treasury at Cementos Argos. There, they managed a portfolio of financial debt, investments, and financial derivatives worth over US$2.0 billion. Sebastian also handled relationships with local and international banks and credit rating agencies. Sebastian successfully structured bond issuances worth COP$1.4 billion and obtained international credits amounting to over US$700 billion.

At Cementos Argos, Sebastian also played a crucial role in executing the financial risk management strategy and structuring resource mobilization schemes across the company. Sebastian achieved significant milestones, including maintaining a debt average life of over 4 years and achieving a debt cost below IPC + 4% (COP) and Libor + 1%.

Sebastian later joined Universidad Católica Luis Amigó - Funlam as an Associate Professor from March 2019 to March 2021. Sebastian also held the position of Head of Project Management at Cementos Argos since June 2021.

Sebastian Estrada R. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad EAFIT in 2014. In 2013, they completed a Finance program at Université catholique de Louvain. Sebastian further pursued their studies at Universidad EAFIT, where they obtained a Specialist degree in Finance in 2017 and a Master's degree in Financial Administration in 2018. Additionally, Sebastian obtained certifications in "Designing Strategy" from IDEO U and "Diploma in Data Analytics" from Universidad EIA - Escuela de Ingeniería de Antioquia in 2018 and 2022, respectively. Prior to their higher education, they completed their academic high school training at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana from 2004 to 2008.
