Abel Mendoza

Abel Mendoza, CSCP, has a diverse range of work experience in logistics and supply chain management. Abel is currently the Director of Logistics at Argos USA, a position they have held since January 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Supply Chain Specialist at Proudfoot from October 2015 to December 2016. From September 2014 to September 2015, Abel served as the Logistics Manager at Imerys.

Abel's career in logistics started at Lafarge in 2002, where they held several roles of increasing responsibility. These roles included Customer Service and Logistics Manager, Distribution Performance Manager, Terminal Manager, and Internal Control Coordinator. During their time at Lafarge, Abel managed a significant freight budget and was responsible for negotiating contracts, coordinating shipping activities, and driving the implementation of the company's business strategy. Abel also developed and implemented reporting tools and served as the main point of contact for Customs requirements.

Before their time at Lafarge, Abel worked at Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Senior Associate, where they designed and executed financial audits and presented findings to clients' management.

With their extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, Abel has developed a strong skill set and a track record of success in various roles within the industry.

Abel Mendoza, CSCP holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras, earned between the years 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. Abel has also attained additional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Deloitte (expected completion in 2023) and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS, which they obtained in August 2014.
