Ersin Uzun

Ersin Uzun is currently a Board Member at ArgosAI. He is the Executive Director of the Global Cybersecurity Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology and also a Professor at the College of Computer Science. Ersin has previously served as Co-Founder & Chairperson at Novity, Vice President, Head of Global IoT Business & New Ventures at Xerox and Head of Research at Palo Alto Research Center. Ersin has also been a Member Of The Board Of Advisors at Lumos Laser.

Ersin Uzun has dedicated their career to developing various new user-friendly security and privacy technologies with funding from Federal agencies and industrial players including Google, Nokia and Cisco. Research results influenced industry standards including Bluetooth, Wifi protected setup and WUSB. Ersin has also provided technical consulting services on innovation, adaptation, development and productization of usable security technologies and architecting security solutions for small to mid-size businesses.

Ersin Uzun attended Bilkent University for their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Afterwards, they completed their Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science at UC Irvine. Finally, they went to Stanford University for their Graduate School of Business.
