Hatsuko Otsuka

VP, Behavioral Health at ARGUS COMMUNITY INC

Hatsuko Otsuka, LCSW, Vice President of Behavioral Health at Argus, since 2008, brings over 19 years of social work experience. She started her career as a suicide crisis counselor and thereafter, worked in an employee assistance program, criminal justice and addiction field. She began her work at Argus as an Assistant Program Director and worked her way to Vice President of Behavioral Health services.

She specializes in treatment of patients with co-occurring mental and substance disorders, homelessness and helps provide alternatives to incarceration. In addition, she is also responsible for the Office of Mental Health licensed (OMH) outpatient programs and Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) licensed residential programs.

She is a graduate of New York University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and in Social Work. She holds a certificate in Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) which has given her with the expertise and skills to effectively supervise social work interns.
