Argus Defense Systems is building autonomous drone technology designed for modern contested environments where GPS and communications cannot be relied upon.

Modern battlefields increasingly involve electronic warfare that jams GPS signals and disrupts communications, disabling many of today’s drones that depend on satellite navigation or remote operators. This creates major operational challenges for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions.

Argus is developing autonomous drones that can navigate and complete missions without GPS or communications using onboard vision-based AI, sensors, and advanced autonomy systems. By enabling drones to operate independently in contested environments, Argus aims to provide more reliable reconnaissance capabilities in the conditions where traditional systems fail.

Our systems are designed from the ground up for autonomy and resilience, integrating hardware and software optimized for GPS-denied operations. In addition to complete drone systems, Argus is also developing key components such as flight controllers, sensors, and autonomy software that can be integrated into other platforms.

Argus Defense Systems was founded by a team with experience across aerospace engineering, robotics, AI/ML, and cybersecurity. The company is focused on advancing autonomous systems that can operate reliably in the challenging environments of modern defense operations.
